Best Stretch® ECO100

An eco-friendly choice for seaming and serging knit and woven fabrics, A&E’s Best Stretch® ECO100 is manufactured with 100% recycled, textured nylon to deliver comfort and performance in a variety of sewn, apparel products. Developed to provide high bulk and superior seam softness, Best Stretch® ECO100 is ideal as a bottom thread in next to skin applications, while boasting excellent seam elasticity and stretch recovery. Best Stretch® ECO100 is produced in GRS SCOPE CERTIFIED facilities.

Braided Bottoming Thread

A high strength sewing thread constructed from braided polyester or cotton for the bottoming of footwear, including boots and heavy shoes. Excellent durability and stitch appearance in the finished product.

Clearlon®

A&E‘s Clearlon® is a specialized, monofilament nylon sewing thread, often sewn in blindstitch operations, as well as quilting, and soft home products. This thread is also ideal where thread stiffness and stitch removal are required and excels in attachment applications, like fabric labels and emblems. Available in a clear translucent color, Clearlon® blends with most colors. Clearlon® is offered in a variety of sizes and conveniently available with or without a dome attachment.

Cocoon Bobbins

A&E produces a broad, collection of premium, pre-wound Cocoon Bobbins in a variety of sizes and fiber types, including; spun polyester and twisted multifilament nylon. Designed for use in Schifli embroidery machines and as an under thread in multi-needle lockstitch quilting operations, A&E’s Cocoon Bobbins represent the perfect combination of quality and time-saving convenience.

D-Core®

Engineered for its color to fade down with the garment after finishing, A&E‘s D-Core® is a premium core spun sewing thread constructed with a continuous filament polyester core and cotton staple wrap. D-Core® allows for the use of smaller thread sizes to minimize puckering or needle cutting, while it’s thread construction provides higher strength over traditional, staple spun products. Engineered for its color to fade down with the garment after finishing, A&E‘s D-Core® Eco is a sustainable, core spun sewing thread constructed with a continuous filament, 100% recycled, polyester core and cotton staple wrap. Allowing for the use of smaller thread sizes to minimize puckering or needle cutting, D-Core® Eco’s construction provides a sewing thread with higher strength over traditional, staple spun products. This thread’s cotton wrap delivers superior needle heat resistance and delivers an excellent sewing performance on manual and automatic, multi-directional sewing machines with superior loop formation and fewer skipped stitches.
